In large country such as India, there are known limitations of the law enforcing authorities, primarily due to disproportionate size of the population they need to supervise. It is practically impossible for them to control each and every behavior of individuals / groups which brings nuisance to the society. As a result it is expected that the citizens show common sense in their social lives so as to maintain the quality of the same intact. Unfortunately the civic sense is on declining path for many decades in India. Bullying seems to be the most effective way of getting the things done in a way any individual wants to do. And if you are able to supplement it with religious or regional believes, then it becomes practically impossible to stop that practice however detrimental it is to the quality of the social life. It is very easy for an outsider to give advice about relationships. Every individual knows himself / herself well. When one is getting into a relationship, it is journey into unknown.
