Uri The Movie

What do you put at stake in your day to day life? What do you put at stake in a day of your office life? Really do we bother to ask ourselves these questions while making big deal of problems we face during our lives.

Movies like Uri gives us that much needed reminder of our brothers, sisters who are putting their lives at stake to save our country, our lives. Movie is amazing. Army life is depicted really well with minute details. Believe me it is not easy. But even as a normal civilian, one can easily feel the difference. The actors have really prepared well for the movie. A lot of hard work has gone in to preparing for the role. How one holds the gun, walks in the parade, the facial expressions all has come out really well. Yes some liberty has been taken in some aspects, but it is quite acceptable. The military functions are captured with all its richness.

Indian army makes you proud. It is not at all easy to leave behind your parents, brothers, sisters, wife, young kids when they need you most. You can not take your life for granted even for a minute when in action. There are families in which this tradition of serving your country runs for generations. The movie captures it all really well. It reminds you that every army personnel has his / her family, their own sets of personal problems. But they forget it all to serve our country. Are all of them taken care of financial aspects if they loose their lives? May be not.. Still it never stops them from giving everything they have to the country!

Everyone should see the movie just to feel the sacrifices of our army men! It is not about getting impressed by the movie on a Sunday evening and then forget about it! If we can remember them in our day-to-day lives even for a moment and it reflects in our social behavior, the movie would have served its purpose! Again congratulations to everyone involved in making this wonderful movie!!!

  1. Rightly said Aditys. We don't value the things that we get free or for what we don't have to sacrifice anything, whereas we expect our family to remember the sacrifices we make for them or the favours we do for others and at times we become vocal about it.... shamelessly
